We offer professional development for teachers throughout the year. Our main offering is our highly-rated summer training which offers a survey of computing topics covered in AP CSP, an overview of major topics in computer science, and guest speakers from the tech industry.
We're now accepting signups for our summer 2022 cohort!
We prodive free resources for you to use in your classroom! We have lesson plans for introducing different computer science topics, video interviews with women working in the tech industry, and our woman of the week project which highlights women in tech and provides a list of videos, readings, and activities that you can do with your class to explore each woman's work!
If you use one of our resources, let us know how it goes! We also love getting suggestions for future resources, so if there's something you'd like to see, let us know! You can email us at contact@anewpipeline.org or use our contact form!
If you're looking for ways to help your teachers get more computer science content knowledge, we would love to run a workshop for your school or district! We have workshops that run anywhere from an hour to multiple days, focusing on programming concepts or major topics in computer science--and they are all accessible to all teachers, whether they teach computer science or not!
We can also create a custom workshop for your teachers! We're happy to consult with you to learn more about what you need, and build and run a custom solution for your school or district. Set up a meeting with us or send us an email at contact@anewpipeline.org to learn more!
Let us introduce your students to computer science! We run workshops on specific topics in computer science (AI, algorithmic bias, cybersecurity, and many more!) for all ages.
We also run speaker events and panels to give students a chance to learn more about careers in the tech industry. We've put together panels with woman working at Twitter, LinkedIn, Google, Sony PlayStation, Disney, and more! We'd love to run an event at your school! Set up a meeting with us to discuss your school's needs or send us an email at contact@anewpipeline.org to learn more!
We're committed to increasing equity across the tech pipeline. In addition to our work with K-12 schools and teachers, we also provide services for:
Tech companies looking to hire and retain more women
Colleges interested in helping their underrepresented students explore careers in tech
Coding bootcamps intersted in supporting underrepresented groups
Any other group that's working towards a more equitable tech world!
Interested in working with us? We're always excited to partner with like-minded companies! Set up a meeting with us or send us an email at contact@anewpipeline.org so we can learn more about you and your needs!
